This notice covers the Hollow Run website and its contact and support email addresses. Reach the Hollow Run operator at contact@hollowrun.app with privacy questions.

Your saved game

The game uses your browser's local storage, under hollow-run-v1, for progress, records, aspects, completed tutorials, your wisp balance, cosmetic purchases and equipped items, and sound and graphics preferences. The standalone website does not send this saved game to us. It stays in that browser until you clear site data or the browser removes it. A different device or browser has a separate save.

The game code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Local storage remembers your game; it does not track you across websites.

Website delivery

Hosting and delivery services receive technical information needed to serve the site, such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information and request times. They may process logs for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Hosting uses third-party hosting and content delivery infrastructure. This is separate from your saved game.

Provider processing and retention follow the applicable service arrangements, policies and security settings. Those providers' own privacy policies describe their services and are not a replacement for this notice.

Contact and support emails

Email is optional. We receive your email address, the name your email service supplies, your message and any attachments you send. We use these to reply, investigate bugs and handle privacy requests. Please avoid sending passwords, payment information or other sensitive details.

contact@hollowrun.app and support@hollowrun.app pass through our domain's email forwarding service and are stored in a third-party email inbox. These providers process messages only to deliver and store them.

Messages may remain in the support inbox after a conversation ends. You can request deletion by emailing contact@hollowrun.app; provider backups and legally required records may have different retention periods. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them.

Your choices

Clear the site data for hollowrun.app in your browser settings to erase the local save. This removes progress, aspects and preferences in that browser, but does not delete emails you already sent.

You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent us. Additional privacy rights may apply where you live. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Younger players

Playing does not require a name, age or email address. Younger players should ask a parent or guardian to contact support for them. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information can contact us to request its removal.

Other platforms and changes

When played through YouTube Playables, saves and scores use YouTube's platform services and Google's privacy policy applies to that platform. This website notice is not an additional agreement inside the YouTube game.

We will update this page if the website's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current notice.
