BEYOND THE TREE LINE
Every trail begins with a little light.
Something lives between these trees. It has your scent.
Use Left / Right or A / D to change lanes. Jump with Up, W, or Space; slide with Down or S. On a phone, swipe left, right, up, or down. Every hit ends the run.
All bends turn automatically. On ziplines and parachutes, steer between lanes. On a sled, steer onto ramps to cross gaps: you cannot jump or duck. Checkpoint landmarks let you retry nearby.
Danger marks warn you where a creature will strike. Leave those lanes; an upward arrow means jump. Missing wisps does not bring the creature closer. Thorn gates open with F or the lantern button.
Press E, click, or tap STRIKE to swing your stick. Return glowing seeds and snowballs; hit the stag when it is dizzy. Defeat both stages to open the exit. Boss checkpoints restart at the fight.
Win the level with more than 50 wisps (51 or more) for all three stars. Finishing with fewer earns two. Keep dodging until the exit: ordinary levels end with the creature's final attacks.
Every collected wisp is added to your permanent balance, even if you lose. Use the Shop button on the menu to buy cloaks, parachutes, sled colors, or a pine beanie for the creature. These change appearance only.
The forest can wait a moment.
